"Instead of thinking of the next vacation, why not create a life that you wouldn't want to escape from?"

Just came across this quote and I found it pretty meaningful; we are all encapsulated in the urban landscape that all we can think of is when is our next 'break' where we can escape from all the pressure that is taking a toll on us?

Like how I am looking forward to my next one-month december break, I guess it works the same way. Everyone is trying to escape from their lives somehow because? Its a life that is so routine, so mundane that there is no incentive for us to not want a break. Maybe money, but will you just keep on repeating until the day you die? Probably, but not in my case.

Midterms are still ongoing, and I admit it is getting pretty tiring, in which I believe the subsequent weeks will get worse because of all the project deadlines and finals preparations. But I am prepared, definitely. Its a semester that I am determined to pull up my CAP, to strike a work-life balance, and to give back to the society (joined Havenue and yippee makes me look forward to saturday mornings :-)

Submitted loads of stuff this week! Done with SEP application, marketing report submission.. how great does it feel to get workload off your shoulders after putting in so much effort! Nonetheless, its time to place my focus on the other midterms and the finals presentation. Pretty shagged but imma get through this.

Went supper with the vivz and yes back to talking about life and whatnot. I guess sometimes, you just really need someone who is willing to listen to you time and again, not getting sick of you repeating the same shit 10000 times and if you fucked up he/she will just tell you in the face. Pretty grateful that I have such people by my side and I wouldn't want to let any of you go. Because it hurts, pretty much so.
